Picked mine up last week-end and its seems to print real nice on tape(on Tascam 488)
I like the fact that to get a cranked up balls to the walls lead sound it's just a touch of a button,(and my wife does not get all cranked up when I wake up the kids)
Have not tried it with my 12-string yet but there is a cool peizo setting that I'll try tonite

Cool. I've got the original Pod Pro (rackmount) with floorboard. It comes in handy for recording. They do take some tweaking to sound right though.

I also use it live for my clean tones.

They did a good job on those.
Was not happy at first with all the tube sounds(been playing w/ my pet Pevey about twenty years now)but like you said after playing with the knobulas you can get the sound you need.
Running my Tele through there now.
Have not tried going thru the pevey yet.

If your Peavey has an effects loop, try connecting the Pod into the return of the loop instead of in front of the amp (nothing will be connected to the send of the loop). It works better for me that way with my Marshall. It bypasses the Marshall's pre-amp so the full sound of the Pod comes through.

Don't know if Peavey amps do that (bypasses the pre-amp by connecting to the return), but it's worth a try.

I use a PODxt bean for recording, and in the effects loop of my amps for effects only. The best way to use if with an amp (if you want the xt to be your main tone) is to plug your guitar into the XT, then the XT's output into the effects return of your amp. Be sure you set the XT's output to the right setting, i.e. studio direct, front 2x12 combo, front 4x12 stack, 2x12 w/ power amp, 4x12 w/ power amp... or something along those lines. To get there push the tuner button and then use the knob just to the left of the screan to scroll to the output options. Generaly, when playing it through an amp, it sounds best if you don't use a cab sim, but sometimes it can add a little something nice to the tone. Best thing to do is to tweak with your ears and not your eyes.

I have the effects loop on the Pevey but your saying don't do the full loop so that your bypassing the pre-amp right?

That's right. Plug your guitar into the POD instead of your amp. Doing this will bypass the real amps preamp.
