# 1
For guitar, a Scott Heatley Tradition. Amp, Marshall JCM800 2203 w/ verticle inputs, 6 caps version, with either a Marshall 1960AV or AX cab. Effect, hmm.. some type of boost/overdrive pedal, like an MXR ZW-44. Album, G'N'R Appetite for Destruction.

Guitar- Driskill Diablo
Amp- Engl Powerball
Effect- Acoustic sim
Album- That's a hard one to pick. Right now my favorite album is Children of Bodom's 'Are you dead yet', but I somewhat doubt I'll have the same opinion ten years from now

OK. OK... lemme think......
Just one of each???
uhhh....
- 1984 Yamaha SBG1000, black, with a DiMarzio DP156 Tone Zone bridge pickup, and a DiMarzio DP151 PAF Pro neck pickup. Series/Parallel coil switches for both pups, and a phase switch on the neck pup. Pups sloped away from the thick strings to keep the tone balanced. 1 Meg pots all 'round. Buzz Feiten tuning system set up for D'Addario EXL110 strings. Solid silver Mojo Pick.
- 1977 Ampeg V-2 head. NOS Mullard preamp tubes. GEC KT88 power tubes. Made-to-order 2x15" cab loaded with old alnico Marsland speakers. Ampeg retro 'vintage' Tolex and grille cloth.
- 197? Dulop JH-1 wah with the 'stack of dimes' inductor.
- Tommy - The Who
So, I've gotta make a 'sleeve' case for the guts of my VT-40 amp, (so the VT-40 combo becomes a V-2 head), find some NOS tubes, finish designing & building the cab for my speakers, and I'm there!

@Lats.. Are you planning on causing involentary bowel movements with that V-2 and the 2- 15's?
On a side note... My drummer just aquired an old Gibson Atlas bass amp from his grandad. It's a 60 watt head / 1x15-horn cab combo set up. The head doesn't produce any sound (been sitting up for years unplayed), but I hooked my classic 50 up to the cab, and it sounded really cool. I got speaker break up without too much volume, which really added something cool to an already gritty tone. That low end you get from a 15 was cool too, but it was just too loose for me. Do most 15's have that loose feel to them, or was it probably because the speaker is old and been sitting up for years, or both?

One of the guys I jam with plays a Peavey Delta Blues amp, which has a 15" speaker. He gets grreat tone out of it. A 15" bass speaker is not the same as a 15" speaker designed for full-range operation. Go to the Weber VST website and look at the spec sheets for the California 15" ceramic-magnet speaker. That's what I use in the combo I built around the salvaged VT-40 amp. Back in the day, I was playing a Garnet BTO (Big Time Operator, 130 Watts) into a pair of Lansing-loaded 2x15" cabs. They delivered the goods.

umm...
guitar: either my gibson sg special faded, or a fender american telecaster
Amp: marshall JCM2000 TSL100
effect: don't know which pedal exactly, but a chorus effect, or perhaps a multi effects like a GNX4 if that's allowed
album: I don't know, that's too tough
