Try Acme guitar works or Guitar Electronics or Callaham guitars...

You'll have to Google them.

Good Luck.

My guess is that since S-1-equipped (US-made) guitars are much more expensive that regular (Mexican) Strats, probably Fender will make sure you cannot buy a $9.99 switch (or whatever it costs) and double the value of your Mex (?) ax :).
But I wonder if a Jimmy Page - type push-pull volume pot can work for you. Guitar Electronics has this kind of kits (and my guitar tech can order an original kit from Gibson for my LP, which I am planning to do later this year).

Bottom line: talk to a KNOWLEDGABLE guitar tech if a Jimmy Page - type push-pull volume pot can be installed in a Strat.

And please let us all know if you find a fix!

the guy that mentioned the push/pull pot is correct. all that fender did with the s-1 switch is take a push/pull pot and make a fancy button on the top instead of having the whole knob pull up and down. any push/pull pot will do the same if wired the same.

I'm sure those switches aren't available on most sites... atleast I've never seen them. Your best bet would be to find the part number and try to order one from a Fender parts vendor. They're probably pretty expensive too...

these kits are not that expensive:
http://guitarelectronics.zoovy.com/results.cgis?catalog=&keywords=jimmy+page&x=37&y=6
but they are for Les Pauls.

wiring diagrams can be found here:
http://www.gibson.com/Files/Downloads/PDFs/Diagrams/PUPwiring.pdf
again, they are for Les Pauls.

Good luck to you, Fender souls!
