I have 2 Yamaha 15 inch speakers, a power amp, a sound board, mics, my own guitar equip, speaker stands, and I am getting monitors and another amp to power them soon, but what else is essential for my PA?

cables... other then that, you pretty much got it covered. maybe a microphone to mic your amp unless you are plugging your amp straight into the sound board. um, I think thats it. but then again, I've never used a PA, my band uses a PA, but my amp pretty much overpowers their PA with my volume at 4... but I don't claim to know everything about PA's, so you might want a second opinion.

Depending on what your needs are, and if you're going to be mic'ing the drums and bass, you might need a couple of sub's and a crossover. You might also was a 2 channel Eq. One side for mains (FOH) and the other side for the stage monitors. They can help reduce feedback and adjust the system for whatever type of venue you're playing at. A good 8-12 space rack for the amps, crossover, eq, etc... would be nice too.

It's alway's better to have more power and volume than you'll actually need.
