Anyone remember when pepsi added coffe into the mix in the lateish 90's. It was only around for a little while, but it wasn't that bad. Pepsi coffe or something. can't remember what it was called.

Well, grab your chest and a bottle of asprin cause there is. Obviously you guys ain't hit 50 yet. Caffiene free, Diet sodas are about all a diabetic at my age can drink. I do remember the good ol' days though back when I lived on Mt. Dew and Mr. Good Bars.

Today, I just drink beer, it's better for you in moderate quantities. :rolleyes:

Heinekin.... I hardly ever drink pop (as it is known in the midwest... NOT soda... haha) I either drink beer or water... or tequila (I make a mean margarita)... hmm.... I've never realized that... maybe I have a problem...HM! but...if I had to choose between the two I would say Pepsi... because that's what I use to drink when I was growing up.

I don't drink pop for the flavor, I drink for the carbonation.

I was gonna say Coke until my girlfriend reminded me that I now love Pepsi. And she also told me that I hate Cheez it's and love cheese nips instead. Ahh...my Meags...she knows everything I like...and if she doesn't she'll tell me soon. I also like watching musicals apparently...when the hell did that happen? Ahh..well..whatever.

I can't help but laugh, but that's when it goes too far... when your girlfriend tells you what you like and don't like... personally, my girlfriend doesn't let me watch chick flicks with her usually, even when I suggest it! I'm all trying to be nice, I'm thinking about all the last movies we've seen together, I'm thinking "batman begins, fantastic four, dukes of hazzard, etc." so, I decided to be nice and go see a chick flick with her, and she like doesn't let me... now that's when you know you have an awesome girlfriend. :D but, occasionally, if it's a movie she wanted to see then we'll go see a chick flick. but most of the time she just says no... but, anyways, I think I diverged from my point. I don't think I'd let her tell me what I do and don't like... but then again, we like almost all the same things.. so, I doubt it would be that bad.

I believe in compromise when it comes to movies. I don't like chick flicks, but I like old movies (which are just technically old chick flicks). Last movie I made my boyfriend watch was a Steet Car Named Desire. I didn't make him watch either, I told him to go away if he didn't like it. But I'm not a very nice person.

The NAACP raises money and provides attorneys (among many other things) to advance one specific group (race) of people. Okay, I admit I don't know that it's a fact that it's illegal, but I don't see how it can be legal...I've been told it's illegal for the reason I mentioned above...

It's the whole Equal Opportunity thing......If a business only hired one specific race, (or sex for that matter) they would be getting sued left and right and put out of business. It's the same thing, but nobody has the balls to take 'em on.

no, it's just the way things works... if a place only hired black people, then it would be ok, if the same business only hired white people, then it would be racist. it's pretty much the same with religion too, freedom of religion, except to christians... if a muslim has a holiday and needs to have a week of school off for this religious holiday, then they can go. but heaven forbid we say the words "under God" in the pledge of alligence.
