no, I just wasn't sure what the NAACP was, and I couldn't tell if you were saying that it only gave money to whites, or to blacks... but, yes, I agree that if it is only giving money to black people then yes, it is racist, however it will never be recognized as racist because apparently white people are the only people capable of racism.

NAACP stands for National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

I never could understand why there are colleges for only african americans.... and why there is a Black Entertainment Telelvision channel (BET)... and why every african american comedian bases their content on making fun of white america.... I have no problem with any culture what so ever... I just have these general curiosities that keep picking at me... How would black-america react to an all white college or all white television channel... it would be racist.... exaaactly.... Oh well... that's the way it's going to be for a long time... it will keep being renewed every Feburary when the Blacks celebrate Black History month and tell "us" white folks what terrible people "we" were. When 90% of "us" don't have ancestors that kept slaves... I think it IS terrible what african americans have endured... but that should be celebrated... not dwelled upon. I say... stop the segregation completely...but what I'm NOT saying is... "If they can do it... why can't we!!!?" haha. I'm the furthest thing away from a racist... I just find humor in it all.

I find humor in it all also, but it does annoy the hell out of me at the same time. I agree in that it was a terrible thing that blacks went through, but that's history now.. Your right on the button about the very small percentage of white's back in the day having slaves, and we all get blamed for it today. Another thing the black community doesn't acknowledge is that blacks sold themselves into slavery. They act like whites went over there and kidnapped 'em or something.

Black Miss America.......that's the one that gets me.

Yep, dwelling in the past is a problem. They should just quit whining and be glad they weren't Indians. I'm not making a joke there either...what happened to the Indians was appalling.
