I sliced my foot open and got a huge spurt of blood streaming across the room. Now my carpet's covered in blood blotches.

Hmm... you could try the salt thing to get the majority of the liquid up... and then use oxi clean and let it set for a long time.

oxi-clean is a good idea, I'd be careful of salt. It will bring fruit stains out but will fix ink. Im not sure if putting salt on blood will fix it, it might which would be bad.

why dont you just leave the stain, it would have much centimental value.

This seriously sucks. I've got a beige carpet that I just bought a year ago and now it looks like I killed somebody. I bought Oxyclean, spot remover and some other stuff and got it kinda half out... but there's blotches everywhere.
Oh well, it was kinda fun watching the blood spurt out across the room to see how far I could get it to go.
Kinda had to give up when I started feelin woozy tho.

i think i've heard somewhere that saliva gets blood out... but i'm not sure... you might want to look it up before you start spitting all over the floor. you could always try sucking it out of the carpet, couldnt hurt to try.

So far nothing's worked too well.
I got some Spot Shot cleaner that worked amazing but it ran out after about 5 sprays.
I'm using Oxy Clean and a bunch of other stuff but my carpet still looks botchy.
I've got a carpet cleaner so I'll give that a shot and hope for the best.
This really sucks. A totally new bright beige carpet all covered in dark botches.
At least my food stopped bleeding.
When I was in Walmart I was so dizzy I thought I Was gonna pass out.
When I got home, the blood was so congealed that it was like jelly on the side of my foot.
How's that for a major gross out :D
