I found a pretty close way to get steve's "Sisters" tone. Put your pickup selector on the single and bridge pickups, and it gets that what I like to call the "Ball Tone" It sounds somewhat like a strat. It's great for playing clean songs and Sisters. Also use a little bit of chorus and delay to get that rich and creamy clean tone.
To get the 'sisters' tone just grab a strat with good single coil pickups and place the pickup selector on position 4. Plug in to a tube amp with good clean tone like a Fender Twin reverb or Mesa DC-2. It's that simple. The rest of the tone comes from the hands. PEACE
