Tap-ons in Spanish Fly classical and on electric leads
OK, I got midway through E. Van Halen's "Spanish Fly"-- the difficult tap-on rolls from 2nd to 9th fret. I used drop tuning to make it easier and get the flamenco guitar tone. Now I am thinking.......is this possible? Does he have a smaller guitar?

no he doesn't use a smaller guitar...he uses an acoustic for the track...if you check out the live performance video he plays spanish fly live on his kramer
