Just wanted to get some feedback on my new female vocalist.
We did it over the internet... ie, music in Holland Landing, Vocals in Texas & there's still some extra music to add.
Many thanks for any input:

I think the 0:52-1:20 isn't in her range. Too low for her voice.

It feels like she's not able to get the note out as much as she wants. After the 1:23 mark you can see that she's more in control. Sounds great.

The 1:52-1:57 is great. Nice line.

Really dig that lo-fi (talk box?) at the end.

It distorts a bit on my system tho. Some pops here and there.

That girl must like Evanescence :)

If this your first project together than it's even better, sounds tight. Her voices matches the music.

I wouldn't got that far. I think it would fit great if she stays in her range. She has a good voice, good foundation. I ain't saying it's perfect. The more project they do together, the better their style will mix.

A good female vocalist isn't easy to find. Takes time to adjust to another one style.

I think with a little work it could sound great. She has a real soulful voice with a hint of Southern gospelness to it. Which, IIRC, is what you were looking for last time you posted some female prospects. The mix is pretty hot, especially the vocals, but besides that, and a few very slightly shakey moments with the vocals, it sounded great ;)

Schmange, I'm not taking the piss mate but damn, Autotune !! And Fast !

Also the mix is VERY hot and this makes it sound noisy.

You might want to think about a limiter or at least some compression on the final mix.

The potential for sounding really great it there you just need to dig it out !
