Finding band members sometimes occurs from the "6 degrees of seperation." Basically it who you know and who they know. If you don't know anyone that knows anyone on the other hand your not completely screwed. One way of doing it is by hanging out at your local music store (sometimes they let you post a flyer there.) Going to shows of local bands can also help. Some people join two or even three bands. You might find someone thats already in a local band that wants to be in two bands.
Bass guitar is the answer to everything

Does it have to be a band?? Maybe you can find even one other person to play with. Duo or trio can be very cool even with weird instrementation. Guitar sax or keyboard or harp. If you can set up a groove I can garantee other people will be wanting to play with YOU. Walla a Band.

Yo! Where you live? If it's Central FLA look me up... I am desperate to play out... I am tired of playing with myself on the computer all the time... OH wait... That sounded bad... I am tired of playing GUITAR with myself on the computer all the time...
So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

yeah,I live in Clearwater florida...I wouldn't mind taking a ride to jam out and stuff.Even if it was a little further out in florida, hell I could just get a motel for a weekend...party time(who's buying?)!

kutzki(is that jewish?)your best bet is to ask people in music stores,or post up a 'resume/band proposal' on a store bulletin. The newspaper works too.Even during routine things like going to the video store or something, asking can yeild results(and its a great excuse to get a girls number!)

I think he lives in "Thornill(Toronto), Ontario" so if all you warm people in FL want to come up here to the arctic circle....
I actually live near Detroit MI, which is close to Toronto, but is is close enough to the arctic circle.
