I will continue to vote for George Benson.He is actually my mentor and I guess there is no one that is as good as him.I want somebody else to challenge my views.

its impossible to be the BEST maybe the fastest or most unique or something but not the BEST

Each one of us could probably list a dozen or more "best" guitarists and nobody would be wrong. In terms of feeling, phrasing and technique(IMO) I'm going to say: Dickie Betts.
