Dimebag Darrell shot and killed!!!

Yea I'll admit I know nothing he or pantera has ever done, Im not into that genre, but being human, you cant help but be touched when you hear about something like this happening.
I mean is any band safe? I dont want to tempt fate but I could think of other bands or artists who would infuritate fans too :( (apparantly before the shooting he shouted something like 'this is for breaking up pantera')
Im going to a big gig in January and it will feel strange.

It makes you wonder... do the friends and familys of these people ever get concerned they might be mentally unstable?!?!

Looks like the USMC might have thought he was -- they kicked him out after serving less than half of his four year enlistment. They won't say why (due to privacy regulations), but how the hell do you get kicked out of the Marines?

I wish the shooter was still alive so I can behead him like the ones in Iraq

#1) Why are people allowed to carry concealed weapons?

#2) Didn't Jim Morrison die the same day as well?

Man Ive been thinking about this non stop since it happened. Things liek this remind you just how awful some people out there are :mad:

1). He probably wasn't carrying it legally (I don't know the law in Ohio).

2). He set out to kill somebody... how much of a deterant could a law saying it's illegal to have a concealed weapon possibly be?

I'm pretty sure he choked to death on his own vomit or died of some other alcohol/drug related thing.

The story I heard was that he jumped the fence in the back of the club and came in through their patio. Thus he was never checked by security in the first place. BTW, there it is legal to have a concealed weapon in Ohio. You gotta take some classes and have license though.

Shocked and deeply sadened. I saw him (Pantera) live 3 times. Such energy and power! He shall remain 'stronger than all.'

As sad as I am, I believe everything is as it should be. Death does not choose its victims, but the brainless idiots to use as weapons. I'm glad he died fast, without much pain. His button was circled.
