Hey gang, this will be a tutorial about how to do bending and vibrato however, as this is my first go at video, I want to get some feedback.

This is an avi file of about 8MB. I have checked the link and it is good as is the sound.

This is a hot-rodded Gibson LP through a POD Pro set to Soldano emulation with the EQ tweaked a bit recorded with a D1200, exported to SONAR and synched with the video. The whole thing was exported as a MW file.

my computer is being evil and there's no sound anymore all of a sudden, but your fingers playing on the gfuitar looked cool.

I was just wondering if you could see how I was doing the vibrato as I intend to use this or something like it in a lesson.

Your video turned out really nice. I need to get better at adding vibrato after I do a bend. It's pretty hard though because there's alot more tension on the string, just something I need to work on I guess, but it definately adds that extra touch to the notes.

I tried that and the amount of shadow produced was horrible !!

It really obscured what my fingers were doing which sort of defeated the object of the exercise.

Here's a dumb question.
Would it be better to show video lessons from the players perspective?
ie, looking down on the fretboard
I just remember last time I tried to learn a riff from a video, I ended up turning the tv upside down.

I tried that also and kept falling over !

Seriously I was just trying to get the best angle for showing what my fingers were doing, like wether I was squeezing then together into a fist or pushing out when applying vibrato.

You need to mount a helmet-cam on one of your hamsters and sit him on your shoulder while your jamming. All the while sending the video feed to your video card.
