Bass through guitar amp
# 1
I'm not completley sure thats good, though I HAVE done so through small practice amps and a 2x12 combo. My friend said it could blow the amp,but I dont see how.The bass just plays lows natrually compared to the mids of a guitar ...its not a voltage/ohm/impedance thing(I dont think).
Needless to say, dont expect a golden bass sound.

It's been discussed here a bit, and LATS isn't stepping in, so I'll repeat what he and others have said so far.
Basically, the only problem is whether the speaker can handle the low frequencies. The actual amp will have no trouble, and that's just plain logic; you're not driving the amp any harder than with a guitar. However, the speaker might not like the extra lows.
However, a guitar into a bass amp is no problemo and was done with great success in the olden times.

... and that's all I have to say about that.

I hate to repeat what's already been said, but......
Running a bass through a guitar amp won't hurt the amp itself, you just stand the chance of blowing the speakers....

Well the answer is yes you can however it will probably sound like crap.
No compression.
EQs all wrong
Speakers are the wrong size
gain controls all wrong.
Blerghhh
Running it too hard (which you will probably need to do) may well knack your speakers.
