I'm not completley sure thats good,though I HAVE done so through small practice amps and a 2x12 combo.My friend said it could blow the amp,but I dont see how.The bass just plays lows natrually compared to the mids of a guitar ...its not a voltage/ohm/impedance thing(I dont think).

Needless to say,dont expect a golden bass sound.
