every scince i got the alter bridge cd i think the best Guitarist is Mark Tremonti he is SWEEEEtttt great tone play fast and perfect doesnt get repetitive his shreds tasteful and his tone is awesome but other than him

Overall: Randy Rhoads, because he was the one to bring Neo-classical to metal, not Yngwie malmsteen. Randy Rhoads was the spark for ozzy and he had Amazing technique, speed as well, more of a sheer speed then shredding and he was just plain out amazing.
