Anybody got a Mac with Hypercard?
I wrote a 2500 recipe stack about 10 years ago with mealplans, dietplans and body fat calculators.
I spent like 5 years putting it together and then realized it was outdated after the web was invented so I scrapped it.
It still works pretty good though if anybody wants it.

Requires Hypercard or Hypercard player and Stuffit to expand it.
There's also a custom font for your system folder.

Lot's of free time before I got into playing guitar.
Mostly did it to train myself how to program. (and learn how to cook)
Worked well cause hypercard is really similar to HTML.

I found a copy of Hypercard player here:

As far as I know this is totally legal !

Yeah, the Hypercard player is totally legal. But the Hypercard development application is about $200. (even so, since it's basically a discontinued platform, all ya havta do is go onto the alt.binaries newsgroups and grab the full version.
Wish like hell they'd kept developing it cause I still use it to brainstorm ideas.
And the graphical interface for doing line drawings and blueprints beats anything else on the market. It's simply laid out but you can throw together a basic floor plan in minutes.

Subway sucks man....
Mr. Submarine is the way to go.
Super sub with extra lettuce, mustard and hot peppers.
Nothing beats their special sauce. Gotta get it heated too.

Gotta get to know the owner too cause then you get twice as much meat.

Subway always cuts their subs weird... like a boat shape or something so all you get is meat stink all over your fingers.
And that Jared guy is always hanging around your table.

As I am one of the laziest people on the planet, sandwich making requires far to much of my valuable energy, so whatever rubbish im about to dribble please ignore or just stick on some bread so it looks like a sandwich.

Deep-fried metwurst/salami is absolutely awesome.

Just cut up some metwurst into all sorts of slices, thick, thin, chunks, anything you like. Wack it in some oil at different times so you get a mix of crunchy ones and some that have sucked up the oil and are all fat and chunky then put a little bit of lemon juice on them or HPsauce or whatever tickles your fancy.

If any of you get really bored and start thinking "I wonder if I could deep fry that" feel free to seek my infinite wisdom on all things that should not be deep fried, I am infact in the process of writing a book of recipes of popular meals in deep fried form that can be made for your loved one as a romantic night in, im thinking of calling it "Deep 'n' Meaningful".

One more thing, the bread for the "Sandwich" can be deep fried quite succesfuly and depending on what youve been cooking and how often you change the oil in your deep fryer the bread can absorb and take on some of the characteristic flavours of your past culinary ventures.

That post makes me think of the words "Scotland" and "Newcastle", home of such culinary delicacies as the deep fired: Mars Bars, Jam sandwiches, pizza, pea cakes and my all tine favorite the suet beaney (free coffin with every third order)!

I think my circulatory system is quite pleased Im currently 4000 miles away from the nearest deep fried jam sandwich !

I wonder if you could make a sandwich then dip it in batter then deep fry it like a kentucky fried subway or something.

ooh ooh idea idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get some diced bacon and cheese and smoosh it up into a ball then dip it in a sort of savoury donut batter and wack it in the deep frier.

Any takers.......no.

Note to self: Think then type.
