Ok so I thought about applying for a bunch of schools, thus sending them demotapes.
I don't know how high soundquality-requirements they have, but I don't
want to come out like a complete ass, so what I want to know is:
Do you think this recording is ok, meaning that you hear what's played without
trying to hard? Can I send it to people without being laughed at?
If not, what should I improve?
Help would be greatly appreciated!
Here it is:

It's recorded with a $2 mic and Goldwave demo.

Ok I'll work on that part. Maybe I can use equalizer or something?
Thanks for the replies!

The quality was fine. Very good for a cheap mic.
The playing was great too ;)
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.
