Does anyone know any scales for hip hop, r & b, and funk or sites that would help?

Thanks,

the pentatonic scale does wonders for that sort of stuff.

Most stuff in the hip hop and R&B genres uses no more than the simple major and minor scales. For funk, minor pentatonic with added b5 (a.k.a. blues scale) is a good choice.

Yeah most Funk scales are Pentatonic scales, or basic Minor/Major Scales. Just fiddle around with them.
