I did this recording last year. I did both guitar tracks separately and added echo to them in Cakewalk. The hardest part of this track was the timing, doing the rythem first and keeping it as long as the solo would have to be. Let me know what you think.

I thought you did a pretty good job, the quality wasn't quite up to par but you did cover the song.

Did you have any issues with the guitar tone. Did it feel 50's-ish?

I didn't have much of a problem with the tone, it did sound a bit 50's, but i thought it was a neat cover. I also only noticed one little bit where the rythm lost beat, but it picked up right away.

I've done a version of this too, it's on here My guitar page I made a couple of bodges under pressure of recording but I couldn't be bothered to do another take coz it's a long piece to play. Sounds pretty sweet tho, enjoy.
