PA system question
I've been looking for the best deal on a PA system but don't know what to look for. What is the best price and value?

Can you be a little more specific ?
What do you want to do with it other than address the public ?

I don't want to address the public I want it for Live music. I don't know what amount of watts I need, but I need it for a big auditorium and for small bars.

Check out Yorkville Sound. They have amazingly flexible systems, excellent quality, and the best warranty in the business. Two years, "Even if you break it"! They don't charge you for their nameplate either. All of your money goes into build quality and useful features, not their reputation. You can swap e-mails with a customer rep who actually knows what (s)he's talking about. They're all musicians and/or soundmen. The products range from small-gig powered mixers, to arena-ready bin-stacks, drivers, and consoles.
I don't work for Yorkville, but I have used their gear, including Traynor amps, and I know for a fact that you can easily spend more somewhere else, but you won't get better gear for the extra expense.
