I lack the lyrical lobe

hi, i pride my self on my riff's,solo's and my general tune writing. But when it comes to writing lyrics...to be honest i suck!
Can anyone gimme some tips or ideas on how to come up with lyrics?

Get someone esle to write them if you're in a band... thats what I do a lot :p . Plus, keep in mind lyrics don't always have to be really good, because if you look at concerts half the time people can't tell what the lyrics are anyways.

Well, this is what I do. Whenever i'm inspired to write, I write down my thoughts or whatever in a notebook. When I go to write lyrics I look back in my notebooks, and pick out a few things that I think are pretty cool. Majority of the stuff I write down in the notebook is ****, but every now and then I'll come up with a cool line. Maybe that'll work with you. :)
