Hmmm... I actually think you could do more musically with about 3 or 4 notes than this guy does with about 1000.

so you think lonliness increases guitar ability?? i can play that sorta stuff, but i'm not lonely... just sad enough to spend FAR too much of my time practising.

i've noticed that a lot of really good guitarists (yngwie, van halen) come from countries where nothing ever happens...

I think there´s no none who could sound less melodic than this guy.

The thing that puzzles me is, how can anyone say that this guy is good? All he does is play fast... In a sense, this is why Eric Clapton is rated so good as a guitarist. Do you know why he is rated good, because his solos and guitar work actaully sound like somthing!!!! I mean, im not the greatest shredder, even though I never really concentrated on shredding, but if I were to practice shredding for the next couple of weeks or months, I would probually be just as fast or close to him. This is somthing that has to be said, It doent matter how fast you are, it matters how good you sound. I mean, you can play 225 bpm like that guy did and play every sour note and said Yo im a great guitarist!!! I just played faster than Kirk Hammet!!! Now im goin for Malmsteen!!! Im a better guitarist than you, because im faster than you. Though some shredding sounds good, I like and enjoy Van Halen and Randy Rhoads, because they shred in a way that is not just notes being piled upon notes. I also noticed in the site that iamthe_eggman posted, every one of his vidoes sounded like the same exact thing. The sweeps to the decending scale again and again. ( though the acoustic was pretty cool ) Like I dont mean to be a suck up, but I think many of our hosts are better than this guy even though they are not as fast.

well shredding is a discpline...it takes a lot of time to earn..not a few months altho im sure you could get it goin in few months...none the less it should be used cautiously...over used to much ppl think thats all you can do and ppl say your boring
He could have worked on his acoustic video...he doesnt have that "delicate" touch when he plays..it just sounds rough or somthing...doesnt sound like how a trained classical guitarist would sound like or even somone whos been playing for 1 year on the classical guitar
