The thing that puzzles me is, how can anyone say that this guy is good? All he does is play fast... In a sense, this is why Eric Clapton is rated so good as a guitarist. Do you know why he is rated good, because his solos and guitar work actaully sound like somthing!!!! I mean, im not the greatest shredder, even though I never really concentrated on shredding, but if I were to practice shredding for the next couple of weeks or months, I would probually be just as fast or close to him. This is somthing that has to be said, It doent matter how fast you are, it matters how good you sound. I mean, you can play 225 bpm like that guy did and play every sour note and said Yo im a great guitarist!!! I just played faster than Kirk Hammet!!! Now im goin for Malmsteen!!! Im a better guitarist than you, because im faster than you. Though some shredding sounds good, I like and enjoy Van Halen and Randy Rhoads, because they shred in a way that is not just notes being piled upon notes. I also noticed in the site that iamthe_eggman posted, every one of his vidoes sounded like the same exact thing. The sweeps to the decending scale again and again. ( though the acoustic was pretty cool ) Like I dont mean to be a suck up, but I think many of our hosts are better than this guy even though they are not as fast.
