Description
I’m using a Stratocaster guitar for this song, but any electric guitar is suitable. For GTR 1, I’ve selected the bridge pickup for a clear, bright tone. Use the neck pickup for GTR 2, which gives a rounder, warmer tone.
A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the electric tone in this tune. Dial in a clean - right on the edge of breakup - sound - for example, set the Preamp Gain to 45%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 60%, and Presence to 65%.
Add reverb to all guitars for depth.
Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using regular light gauge strings that are 10-46 along with a heavy pick.
