Description
There are two electric guitars using huge 80s overdriven Marshall tones. Turns up the gain for the solo! Guitar 1 plays the rhythm and riffs, while Guitar 2 plays the lead fills, main solo, and outro solo. Both use a humbucker pickup in the bridge position.
Crank up the overdrive or distortion on the amp to get a nice crunchy tone and a splash of reverb as well. If your amp can’t get the right overdriven tone, try adding a distortion stomp box between the guitar and amp. Add a little echo delay to the solo for ambience and sustain. For EQ, set the treble at 2 o’clock, bass at 11 o’clock, and mid at 1 o’clock. These settings should get you pretty close to the right tone using whatever gear you have.
