We’ve got 2 electric guitar playing throughout the song. I’m using a semi-hollowbody guitar, but any guitar is suitable. I’ve selected the bridge pickup for both the rhythms and leads for a bright, clear sound.

A Fender tube amp is the best choice to replicate the tone in this tune. To dial in a clean right-on-the-edge-of-breakup setting, start out with the Preamp Gain to 35%, Bass to 50%, Mids to 55%, Treble to 55%, and Presence to 60%.

For Guitar 2, kick in a tube screamer for a gainy lead sound.

Add reverb to all guitars for depth.

Since we’re in standard tuning, I’m using regular light guage strings that are 10-52. I’m also using a heavy pick to dig into the strums and licks.
