Now it's time to play through practice tune with an extremely sparse backing track. It'll just have some backbeat snaps and the vocals, so if you get off the rhythm at all you'll definitely notice. Make sure you try it on your own after playing along with me a few times.
I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial and that you now feel equipped to play both, fills, intros, outros and maybe even a little instrumental section all by yourself. It's really fun to venture into this territory where rhythm playing meets lead playing, and even though we couldn't get to all the chords in this tutorial, the approach is going to be the same with any chord you already know or learn down the road: find the notes that are easily accessible within and around the voicing and use that to come up with embellishments and fills.
