Description
In the previous tutorial we explored the I, IV & V chords relationship and we briefly explored the dramatic effects you get when you substitute some of the major chords within a progression with minor chords.
But there is a less dramatic way to use minor chords that we'll explore in this tutorial. Just like you saw that the I, IV & V chords are related to each other, every major chord has a related minor chord that can be used in it's place, and once you understand this you'll be able to manipulate the mood of a chord progression like a musical wizard. In theoretical terms this is called the relative minor and it's extremely useful concept to understand.
