Now it's time to play through this practice tune up to speed. We're going to do this without a backing track, so you can hear how well this style of guitar playing carries a tune all by itself. And the most important thing here is as always that you're not straining in your RH creating bad habits and that you're making it groove.
I hope you've had fun with this sound. I'm sure you noticed that it overlaps in many ways with some of the FP we've already explored and yet in other ways it's a whole new sound. It shares a lot of DNA with piano ragtime sounds, country, old school jazz, blues and other styles of music, and it's really empowering to realize how you can eventually play songs, solos and accompaniment without having to rely on anyone else. It's not easy, but it's 100% worth the hard work.
