Description

Pedal point technique is common in classical music and adapts wonderfully to tapping. This examples is taken from Bach’s ‘Toccata and Fugue’. The first example has the pedal point on top of the melody and uses A melodic minor scale. The second example has the pedal point in the bass under the melody and uses A harmonic minor scale.
