Now it's time to play through this whole practice tune up to speed with the backing track. Since the solo isn't improvised, we'll play it all together, but as always you can feel free to watch and listen a couple of times before you start playing along yourself.
I hope you've had a lot of fun with this tutorial on southern rock. Although we've covered a lot of new material in this tutorial, we've barely scratched the surface of all the tools, sounds and tricks that are used in this style.
So if you like it, there's much more exploring for you to do on your own. Go listen to the bands and artists that I mentioned in the intro and see which ones you like the best. Then from there on it's just a matter of learning as much as you can from them and finding a way to use it all in your own way. Have fun with it!
