Description

For the boom-chick acoustic part, I'll be playing my Taylor 510; but any steel string acoustic guitar will do.

For the electric part, I'll be playing my Fender Telecaster through a Line 6 POD modeling a clean Fender amp with the EQ tones for bass and mids set to noon, and the treble is up to about 2 o'clock. I'm also adding a very quick slap-back delay. You can get close to this tone with a single coil guitar and a clean amp with a bit of reverb or echo.
