Description

The left hand is generally responsible for which notes are created and played on the guitar. Which strings are you pressing down with your fingers, and which notes and/or chords are created by doing that?

The left hand can also create notes on its own, through the use of such techniques as the hammer-on, the pull-off, and the slide. Make sure you study proper left hand positioning carefully, and double check yourself from time to time to make sure you are staying on track. The correct positioning will make all the difference in the world in how well you will learn create the notes and chords on your guitar.
