Description

We'll begin with important pointers on getting off to a good start, including correct fingernail length/maintenance, understanding how to build calluses, and making sure you know the correct number for each finger.

Next, we'll take a look at working with 1 finger at a time versus "the paw", and I'll demonstrate correct finger placement in fret.

We'll end this lesson with an exercise: practice fretting a string with your 1st finger, then switch to your 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Start to get the feel of using your fingers correctly one at a time. If your fingertips are burning, do this same exercise, only barely touch the string with each fingertip.
