Description

In this lesson we are going to use notes from the A major scale to get back and forth between the chords of the exercise: A minor, D minor, A minor, E minor, repeat.

Conveniently, we are starting and ending the single scale notes on open notes. This will be beneficial in getting our hands in position to play the chords that immediately follow the scale notes.

We play the A minor chord.

Then use A minor scale notes to "walk up" to the open D string.

Then we play the D minor chord.

We use A minor scale notes to "walk down" to the open A string.

Then we play the A minor chord.

Then use A minor scale notes to "walk down" to the open E string.

Then we play the E minor chord.

We use A minor scale notes to "walk up" to the open A string.

Then we play the A minor chord.

Repeat!

Take your time to get the motions down properly.
