How low should my action be?

Guitar newb here. I just bought a Rogue (very cheap, yet recommendable guitar), and I think the action is a bit high, but I don't have that much of an issue playing it. For reference, how low is a "good", playable action as far as measurements go?

Having the guitars action at a comfortable height is a lot to with personal preference.
