Thank you all! how long have you all been playing? any tips? I know about the fingers will hurt lol.... Much like piano, I think I will strugle with doing different thing with the left hand as I am doing with the right hand... I am slowly mastering that on piano... but on Piano it is all sheet music... how much do you folks play via sheet music?

Jan here, only tip I would have is I structure my daily practice around specific drills and song learning. 1 hr per day. Good luck!

Andrew yes, I am 59 years old and my salesman was 65 and has been around and was in bands and traveled and he spoke very highly about that guitar... he first showed me like a $200 dollar straight accoustic but I said I didnt mind spending more as I wanted something that would be good, durible and would last me for a while... I am happy about it. The guitar in my profile pic is not it, that was just a Fender in the store my wife snapped while I picked it up and I just noticed last night that the one in my pic is a left handed guitar lol, I am going to take a new pic with me and my Taylor :D
