Hello all

my name is Edwin Carlier and I m 55 years old and just started playing guitar 3 Months

ago and I from Belgium

i have also a question, how long does iT take to Play skeeter loves annie

I have follow all lessons from the beginning and I play average 30 min a day

i Can play it very slowly but not on that tempo

Hi Dewitten,

"Skeeter Loves Annie" might take a few tries before you can play it at the speed Lisa does. I suggest you play along with her, and even if you mess up, and feel like you can't keep up, try your best to simply keep going. Doing it this way will teach your hand how to move fast enough with the tempo, and if you keep doing it this way, you will be able to switch chords at the correct speed.

Hi Edwin, and welcome!

Yes, that song does move along pretty quickly, but what is most important is that you use it, at your own pace, to get really comfortable with the chord changes and the rhythm. If you can play through the song WITHOUT me, on your own, at a slower pace, that is great practice. Maybe try that for a while, and then try it again with me. I bet you and I will be playing it together pretty soon!
