No.
[br]Quoting Fender: "Set of six locking tuners designed to fit most modern-style Fender electric guitars with dual-pin mounting configuration. Truthfully I use a mix of both locking and non-locking tuners on my 7 electric guitars, all of which get used regularly. A mix of Gotoh, Wilkinson, Grover, & Yamaha OEM. Unless you're a massive tremolo user, apart from the genuine advantage of easy & lightning fast string changes, if the OEM tuners are stable and mechanically smooth with an acceptable to you gear ratio, changing out to lockers is just GAS driven and largely expensive boasting rights eye candy. But hey, it's your money. I'm certainly in no position deny the influence GAS can exert over logic. If you can easily afford it and buying them makes you happier with your guitar, go for it I say.
