Is there a seperate section on the site specifically for learning electric guitar? Or is the course only with accustic?

Hi Angie and welcome

Lisa uses both types of guitar in her lessons but once you get into Styles the instructors uses guitars more akin to the style. For instance in Blues, Anders uses an electric. [br][br]

In learning songs the instructors use whatever is appropriate to the song. [br][br]

Good luck with your studies.

This year the diet is definitely gonna stick!

The basics of guitar (notes, scales, chords, strumming, picking, reading music) are equally applicable to both acoustic & electric. So, even though Lisa happens to be using an acoustic in GF1, it's perfectly fine to use an electric.

As William noted, Lisa also uses an electric, but in GF2. After you learn the basics, then the style courses and song tutorials get more instrument specific.

Hope that helps!
