What happened to GuitarBattle
I was a regular at guitarbattle.com. I tried to visit the site about 2 weeks ago and found that all of a sudden the site was down :mad: There was a sad face page and somthing saying "no this site has not been hacked" On the next page it just had some wierd george bush joke. What the hell is going on here? What did I miss? :confused: Did Rob finally get fed up with the upkeep of the site or what? I feel sorry for all those people that donated money for a new server that only lasted a couple of mounths. geeeez first riffwar than guitarbattle...no more free music competition sites I guess. Unless anyone else knows of any?

Yeah I've been to that site...but its not free! Oh well i'll probably end up joining in the end if guitarbattle of riffwars make a comback.

i'm a user there too (ernzzz)... just before the site came diown, there were a lot of issues with some users, that were funking some others, cheat voting, posting bad assed comments and those things... to me, brainpolice, redemption, robot... well i dunno if it gots any relation... but its so near in time... the first days the "no, the site has been not hacked" was not shown... then 4 or 5 days later they put it... i thought it was like a joke... then i hoped it was the reconstruction and improving of the site (rob promised if the donations were given...) but now i dunno.... :confused: the site has been down for a month or so... :eek: what the funck is happenin!?!?!?!!

its a site where u can post songs of any style (...), or covers, and "battle" against another user... u can create a new battle or joint an existent one... then the registered users can listen the pieces, and vote about some aspects of the song... there's a rank based on the points u get... theres another lil rules.. but thats all..

only been up a matter of days .. the graphics are all be designed currently so naff ones on the site at the mo .. a few design flaws being aired out but it works ... openning today... if you wanna swing by and check it out, that be cool :)
