ok, what can i get that is not expensive that can make my amp sound a little bit better, better tone and stuff, and also when u mic an amp, doesnt it sound better than if you just had the amp blasting because the more i turn up my amp, the less definition i hear, so if i mic'd it would it sound better because the speaker isnt being pushed hard? i dont know if this goes under tech talk category but owell...

Tone changes with volume so you may want to re adjust your Bass, middle and treble (or contour) buttons when you turn up.

If you want to know more, the relationship between frequency and volume is described by Fletcher-Munsen equal-loudness curves
