Push the whammy bar down and then strike the low E string. Pull up on the bar to simulate the engine reving up..
Then quickly push the whammy back down, and strike the A string, then pull it back up.......
Keep doing this while making your way up to the higher strings, one at a time. To me, the trick is when you dive the whammy back down to move to the next higher string, give it a quick pull back up, then back down to simulate the engine reving when the clutch is pulled in. This action should be done very quickly. Use your ears.......
