Guitar purchase dilemma

ok, this is the story. I have an ESP M-100 with a floyd rose. I dont use the floyd rose that often and to be honest it isnt all that great. I was planning on putting a nice set of 81/85 EMG pickups on it. Now im not sure if i should go out and pay 200+ to put on this guitar which im not thrilled about. The reverse headstock is the best thing out of the guitar. I was tyring to find a guitar out there that i could buy no more than $500 with EMGs stocked into them but couldnt find it. I was thinking about maybe buying an ESP EC-50 for 200 brand new and then adding the EMGs? Its primarily the floyd i cant stand i guess. Any opinions or suggestions.

some of the SG style epiphone's come with EMG Hz. You might want to go and check those out. Not sure how much they cost though. All I know is that the model I looked at looked just like the Gibson SG special faded.
