I never could get into Yngwie, mostly because of his tone. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Not bashing him, he's probably got the best technique of anyone out there, and I have a lot of respect for him because of that.

Well probably my fav guitarist of all time is Saul Hudson (Slash) and the rest are (in no particular order):

Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) he is also a great songwriter
Peter Lindgren (Opeth)
Kirk Hammet (Metallica)

Keith Richards, Jimmy Page, and Kirk Hammet are definatley some of the best guitarists out there, behind a few unknowns. and of course i know i am overlooking a few ppl i'm sure

And even though Daron Malakain is no where near the best guitarist, he's still a god to me. I warship him. :) (dont take this literally grr)
