Yea, is there any band that achieved that much in such a short time? Appetite sells 20 thousand a week even 17 years later, and every now and then it pops into the top 40 over here in the UK. Also... check out the greatest hits CD, that went 10 in almost every european country.

I think in the beginings of bands your hearing the riffs, ideals and feelings from the band before there fame. Its pure and genuine. I think thats why debuts can be the best.
This is one of the reasons I have so much respect for a band like Aerosmith. The pump album came out 16 years after they formed, 8 or so albums after there debut, and it just kicked ass big style!
