The word hardcore means "extremely explicit", and thats pretty much how any
person would describe the bands currently playing hardcore.
But let us not forget that 40 years ago, The Beatles was hardcore.
After that it was punk, moved on to metal, and that brings us up to date.
But generally, metal is somewhat "lighter", hardcore has a more screamy feel to it.
