personally, i really like the sound of boss distortion, particularly the DS-1 and DS-2. I have a Danelectro distortion and I didn't think anything was wrong with it until I tried my setup using my friend's Boss DS-2 instead. Wow, that pedal has a much nicer distortion then my previous amp. I am told I can't even notice most of the great things the pedal can do because I just have a solid state amp.

So, would I be able to accurately emulate the Boss DS-2 distortion using the Boss GT-6 or Boss ME-50. Once again, what is the main difference between these two units?
